🚀 We’re Hiring: GCP/Firebase Cloud Functions Expert (Fixed-Price | Direct Contract Only)

We’re looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) specialist with hands-on expertise in Firebase Cloud Functions (Node.js) to help us resolve a recurring issue affecting our Flutter-based currency converter app.

🔍 Project Background
Since April 7, our Firebase Cloud Functions—which handle exchange rate updates—have been consistently failing. Logs in Google Cloud indicate repeated 429 (Too Many Requests) errors, along with some 500s. As a result, the “Exchange Rate Last Updated” timestamp in the app is no longer refreshing. Screenshots of relevant error logs will be provided.

✅ Scope of Work / Deliverables
Upgrade Node.js environment to the latest supported version (v18 will soon be deprecated).

Investigate and diagnose the root cause of the 429 and 500 errors using Cloud Logs and monitoring tools.

Implement a fix to fully resolve the issue and prevent further rate-limiting or failures.

Verify functionality by ensuring the app correctly updates exchange rates and displays the latest timestamp.
