Role Overview – We are looking for a ClickHouse expert to assist with analytics setup, query optimization, and BI tool integration on an existing self-hosted ClickHouse cluster deployed via Google Kubernetes Engine.

Role & Responsibilities:
1) Design and optimize ClickHouse schemas tailored for high-performance analytics
2) Integrate ClickHouse with a BI tool (primarily Metabase)
3) Configure roles, permissions, and data source access
4) Develop and tune complex SQL queries for use in dashboards and reports
5) Provide architectural guidance for scalability and performance

Eligibiliy criteria:
1) In-depth knowledge of ClickHouse internals, including partitioning, table structures, and performance tuning
2) Experience connecting BI platforms like Metabase to ClickHouse
3) Strong data modeling and advanced SQL skills
4) Understanding of ClickHouse in containerized/Kubernetes environments

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Experience designing dashboards and data visualizations for non-technical stakeholders
2) Familiarity with monitoring ClickHouse using tools like Prometheus and Grafana
3) Exposure to integrations with services like Kafka or S3
