We are looking for a skilled cloud database engineer to help us migrate our existing database infrastructure from AWS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). If you’ve successfully handled cross-cloud database migrations and are confident in minimizing downtime while ensuring data integrity, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
1. Analyze our current AWS database setup and design a step-by-step migration plan
2. Build and optimize the equivalent database environment in GCP
3. Carry out the migration with a focus on data integrity and minimal disruption
4. Configure robust security settings, backups, and monitoring on GCP
5. Document the new infrastructure and provide a smooth handover to our internal team
6. Offer post-migration support for a period of 2 weeks

What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in migrating databases between AWS and GCP
2. In-depth knowledge of cloud-native database services on both platforms
3. Strong skills in data validation and integrity testing
4. Clear and proactive communication, including regular updates and documentation
