Role Summary:
We’re seeking a DevOps Consultant to act as a strategic advisor and technical validator for our cloud and DevOps initiatives, with a strong emphasis on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This is a hands-off consulting role where you’ll guide our internal DevOps Engineer, review infrastructure code, and ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code Review:
Review and validate IaC written in Bicep and ARM templates, ensuring modularity, reusability, and compliance with Azure best practices.

Mentorship & Guidance:
Support and mentor the in-house DevOps Engineer by providing expert insights on advanced Bicep usage, Azure networking, and deployment strategies.

CI/CD Process Oversight:
Evaluate and improve CI/CD pipelines (built using Azure DevOps), focusing on efficiency, governance, and secure deployment workflows.

Architectural Advisory:
Provide strategic recommendations for building secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions using Azure services such as AKS, Azure Functions, App Gateway, Key Vault, and more.

Security & Monitoring:
Review and advise on integrations with security and logging tools including Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, CloudGuard, and other SIEM platforms.

AI & Supabase Support:
Assess and validate infrastructure compatibility for Supabase and AI/ML deployment pipelines.

Documentation Review:
Ensure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and architectural decisions are well-documented and reproducible.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a consulting or senior position

Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, particularly with Bicep and ARM templates

Strong experience with AKS and containerized application management

Proficient in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and GitOps

Solid background in infrastructure security, including Azure-native integrations (Key Vault, Private Endpoints, SIEM, etc.)

Skilled in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python

Experience mentoring technical teams on best practices

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Familiarity with Supabase is a plus

Exposure to SOC2 Level 2 compliance is desirable

Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
