Looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to set up log forwarding from GCP to Splunk. The task involves configuring a GCP Log Sink, setting up Pub/Sub, and deploying a Docker-based forwarder on Cloud Run using Python.

Responsibilities –
1. Configure a GCP Log Sink to capture relevant logs
2. Set up Pub/Sub to forward logs to a custom service
3. Build a Python-based log forwarder packaged in Docker
4. Deploy the forwarder to Cloud Run
5. Ensure logs are sent in near real-time to a Splunk HEC endpoint
6. Provide Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
7. Deliver basic documentation for setup and usage

Requirements –
1. Strong experience with GCP services (Log Sink, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run)
2. Proficient in Python and Docker
3. Hands-on experience with Terraform
4. Familiarity with Splunk log ingestion (especially HEC)
5. Ability to create clean, well-documented, and reliable infrastructure
