🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior InfluxDB Specialist (Cloud Migration Project)

We’re looking for a Senior InfluxDB Specialist to lead the end-to-end migration of our time-series data from on-prem/local InfluxDB instances to a robust, cloud-based infrastructure. This role is key to modernizing the data backbone of our enterprise-level news organization and enabling real-time analytics at scale.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a seamless migration strategy for InfluxDB data to a scalable cloud environment

Optimize post-migration performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency

Work closely with DevOps and data engineering teams to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime

Deliver clear documentation and provide training to internal teams

✅ Requirements
Hands-on experience with InfluxDB (v1.x and/or v2.x), including schema design and tuning for performance

Proven track record with data migration projects, especially involving time-series databases

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and preferably InfluxDB Cloud

Solid understanding of security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices
